Can't Wait to Experience Football Season Sober!
American football, that is.
The past few years, I've had to re-watch highlights from games I had watched the day before, because I was too drunk to remember what actually happened.
This year, I am looking forward to watching every snap sober, and remembering the entire game the next day without the aid of video replay.
Go Pack Go!

Cheesehead, are ya?
We had a cool thread last year which was like an office pool picking the winners of each game each week. Don't know if anyone is going to do it again this year.
Yeah, watching football sober is a new and different experience. Enjoy!

Yup. Packers/Badgers all the way. Watching that Badger/LSU game last weekend sober was a revelation. Just so intense! And, I could talk about it with my brothers the next day.
Fluffer - I was part of the football "pool" thingy. We should do it again.
U75 - loving the new avatar, and I didn't get to watch much of that Badgers game, was completely amazed that they beat LSU!

Welcome to the teetotal NFL sunday club. You will quickly find out how much fun it us watching sober.. not to advocate gambling, but I put a little something on the games I watch to spice it up a bit, highly entertaining. I also do Fantasy Manager NHL on ***** - incredibly fun for sports fans.
I'm big into fantasy football. I've been in the same league for 15 years. There used to be a lot of drinking attached to our drafts and parties, but we've all gotten older and a few of us are sober now, so the drinking has really become minor. I'm happy to still be able to participate.
It's a pretty awesome experience. I used to use the games as an excuse to drink but since sobering up i've become a huge fan of the actual game.
Great job on LSU last week by the way! Hate that cheap shot they took at the end.
Woo pig.

I used to try to ration my drinking during the game. Just one beer per quarter! That kinda went out the window when I started swilling tequila straight from the jug.
People are going overboard with Wisconsin predictions after that game, saying that the team could get to the playoffs. We still have Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Iowa on the schedule, so I don't think that's going to be happening.

The Packers, however, are favored to win all of their games.
