I cooked on the grill tonight. It was a cool beautiful evening which we haven't had in awhile. I stood outside by myself soaking it up as everything seemed perfect. I got a big stupid grin on my face and laughed out loud. I've come so far that such a simple thing can bring such happiness. It makes me realize how rare happiness used to be in my life. I hope everyone here finds that happiness it's truely awesome. Just had to share that. Good night all see you tomorrow.

It's like being drunk made things shittier, and sobering up made us happier than before the drinking because we have seen how dark it gets, and now small things are like miracles.. Nice post, thank you!

Yes it's still hard sometimes. Some days just don't ever seem to be right. I'm sure normal people have bad days too. The good days are coming more often now and I'm never going to get tired of feeling happy. I think it's there for all of us if we can just give sobriety a real chance.
