I needed to hear this. There's a strong correlation between my sobriety and my activity on here and in meetings. When I feel negative feelings I'm trying my best to express them before they turn into something worse.

Mint chocolate chip is awesome too. I like to help others on SR when I can even if it's to welcome others. Many situations though are over my head but I watch the more experienced members give advice and I'm often amazed at there wisdom. It's funny how we go to school,read books, or take courses to become proficient at things in our careers or a subject that interests us but for me it was not instinctive to become "educated" on how to be sober. I always failed. SR members not only give you moral support but they give you your sober education. Just my thoughts.
