Ok! Productive member of society checking in here!
Cleaned my house up, put laundry in, pot roast in the slow cooker, bought groceries, went to the dreaded mall to grab my overpriced lotions.
All that's left is to make sept work schedule and clean my car.

I grew up in the 70s, when men were men and dinosaurs stalked the earth

Took the Lancia for a spin today, as it is left hand drive it should be good for cruising around my manor but this being London you get a ticket for stopping more than a couple of seconds. Driving it always puts a smile on my face, I really hope a can redress the financial aspect

No no no, that pic is obviously 80's RDA, not 90's/2000's RDA.

brynn, it's even more sophisticated to call him "RDA."

I've had a rubbish day.
I think today was back to school day for kids and it was easy to tell who in the office has kids and who doesn't because out of 6 secretaries there only 2 were in today - me and one other lady. My new doctor really needs 2 secretaries - one to answer the phone and deal with faxes and another to do the typing. I don't know how the lady I took over from managed to do everything and keep smiling.
Then the registrar came to me and asked if the consultant saw the theatre list for tomorrow? I said "yeah I showed it to him last Friday". He smiled and said "we will go easy on you for now but you booked 2 tonsilectomies and 2 broken noses for tomorrow. In future give us one of everything otherwise it gets boring for us". Well for him that he gets "bored"! The only reason I booked the 2nd broken nose is because the consultant was at a different hospital today and phoned me asking to bring some guy in tomorrow as an add on because broken noses have to be dealt with with 14 days or something or other and its already been 12 days.
Well at least I'm learning some thing new every day.
I'm a bit stressed out now. I have to 'pull up my socks' or I'm afraid I'll get fired.

I don"t think they will fire you Tetra, you work plenty hard enough. I could do with a secretary

Just heard Gene Wilder is dead. Kind of a shock that he was 83

Hi folks.
Hope all is well for everyone.
An hour more of work to go.

Suddenly, it's not so strange
for me to raise tarantulas
and venomous scorpions
as pets.

This guy has totally lost his marbles.
