Kids are driving me crazy

Just saying! I know I'm not the only one out there that feels like that.

Being in recovery with loud, unruly kids should get us some bonus points, no? ;)

Youd think, but apparently not. I try to think on the positive, we had troubles getting pregnant and first was actually through IVF, second passed away in utero at 8 months. Second (third) and third (fourth) were both natural. All healthy... so it's been a crazy 10 years, and when the craziness ramps up i just try to think back to the struggles of even having them.

A hot bath with a candle burning with a glass of perrier water soothes my brain and body.

I have three kids and the noise makes recovery difficult - I also have mental challenges which escalated my need for multiple baths each day in early recovery. Is there someone that can watch the kids for an hour or two a day to give you some relief?

Wishing you the best.

I am slowly becoming free babysitter for next door neighbours child. He's two. I think. He demands juice boxes, pop, and snacks. He demands candy. He demands my gum. Him and my daughter run around screaming together. He has an older brother too who comes often. Oh boy. They just show up and start running around everywhere.

I love kids.
BUT. I am not cut out to be a sitter to someone else's kids who's manners are far lacking compared to my daughter's (NOT that she's an angel)
ANYhow... this too shall pass. And then I'll be all lonely tonight lol

Treasure them while they're young. Their childhood will pass so quickly and then you'll miss them when they move out on their own.

I have to tell a story about a guy I worked with awhile ago. His wife was pregnant with their first. He was telling us that he was all prepared because they had a dog and a baby would be easier. The rest of us, who had kids, just looked at each other with a silent "Are you kidding me"

What I wouldn't give to have my daughter driving me crazy. She is gone forever and you will never know what a gift you have until they are gone

Love them for sure...Time has been flying by. Seems just like yesterday my wife was prego.

I'm with least. Enjoy every minute it goes by so fast. Then your left sitting in a big empty house with the dog. I don't know where all the time went.
