Almost two weeks
Almost two weeks
I can't believe it but i'm almost two weeks sober.
It's been easier than I thought. The last few times I drank were so terrible - more so the hangovers - i was nauseated, feverish, hot, cold, just downright sick. And the hangover, only for a few drinks, would last almost two days.
I never used to be like that. I used to bounce back so quick.
Maybe my liver or organs have been messed up from the drinking, but I haven't checked. I'm just glad i'm not drinking.
Alcohol has ruined relationships, opportunities, finances - so many things for me. But when my body started to show the signs of the damage from drinking, alcohol is just not worth it.
I've come to realize i'm not invisible..alcohol is a poison.
I wish you all a sober day, evening, week...lifetime.

Congrats on two weeks, KPForever! It seems you've powered through a very challenging part. My last blackout binge was Saturday night and I'm still recovering from it both physically and mentally. I am confident sobriety can help rebuild your mind, body, and life. Stay strong and believe in yourself.

I agree that sobriety can rebuild our minds, body and life
I know i've damaged a lot of my body with the drinking. I can't see it on the outside, but I feel it. I'm in my 30's but my body's so weak....I don't have the strength to take in alcohol, i get so sick.
