Rrrrrr need help ! On vacation for a week , is there a 3 or 5 day detox in mass for alcohol ?

Yes, it's called your doctor & you

It was just a suggestion. Your doctor can prescribe meds to help with withdrawal symptoms if you are willing to stay with it.

Welcome!

It's always a good idea to talk to your dr before detoxing from alcohol because it can be unpredictable.

Hi and welcome pjmrussell :)

Your doctor might know of local opportunities.

These numbers may be of use too:

The National Drug and Alcohol Treatment Referral Routing Service available at 1-800-662-HELP. This service can provide you with information about treatment programs in your local community and allow you to speak with someone about alcohol problems

Hopeline-dot-com has free 1-800 line that will connect any caller in the US who needs help to a certified crisis center nearest the caller's location. Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number is:

1- 800-784-2433
This place can be a great help too - I hope maybe you'll decide to stick around :)

Google 'alcohol detox' in your town and see what comes up. But it's just as easy to see your doctor for help in getting thru the first few days of anxiety.

Hello and welcome. Have you had any luck finding a center to go to in your area? You can simply go to the hospital ER as well. They will help you.
