84 days and counting
So I'm nearing 90 days sober! I cannot believe it! It seems being sober is becoming the new norm. There are still times I think about wanting to drink, but they are just passing thoughts. I am still worried about the future though. Damn future. It's tough - we shouldn't worry about what may or may not happen in the future, but at the same time, we make goals and things we'd like to accomplish in the future, so we do have to think about it sometimes. Does that even make sense?
I'm in my 16th week of pregnancy. Time really does fly; I'm almost half way there. It's pretty much sank in now, and we are gearing up for baby - physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. we find out the gender in 2 weeks 😍 Still no names yet
Things for the most part are getting better. We are still in the process of moving. We haven't moved anything yet, but packing, organizing, and cleaning. I'll be glad when it's over.
My husband has had 2 (short) relapses. I still go insane. He's a totally different person on that stuff and I hate that person. I need to learn some coping skills for these situations. I am hoping the situation never arises again, but you know how that goes. We all have our struggles.

Were almost the same time sober Jillian ,well done us lol , seriously you've done great .
We shouldn't worry about the future but I know what you mean . can you try and practice " a day at a time" as per AA teachings . The boozy thoughts do come and go and well done for dismissing them as just thoughts and moving on .
maybe just explain to hubby how his relapsing makes you anxious which is not what you need . Yes your right ,he has his own struggles , its tough .

Congrats Jillian! On 84 days and a healthy pregnancy. You can do this... keep working your way through it and definitely the coping skills can be continually worked on so you can make it through the trying times
