Think it through how will you feel once you realize whatever you wanted to drink away is still there. How will you feel in the morning? How many others will be affected by your actions. Is it really worth it?

And where will that lead exactly? Play the tape to the end as many say on here. Think of something better to do when you get off work. Go and see somebody, go for a run, a walk. Go home and get in the bath........... just ride it as best you can until it passes. It WILL pass and you'll be so glad you didn't give in.

It won't be just the 24 ounces of beer! And you will feel like absolute **** tomorrow!

are you committed to NOT drinking NO MATTER WHAT?

if not, i suggest you do so RIGHT NOW.

drinking is what GOT you here....go back and read 8 or 10 of your own posts.......misery is only GIFT alcohol has to offer you.

I went back and looked through your threads...they're pretty much the same for seven pages going back two years.

So clearly this isn't working, right? Do you have other places for in-person support or plans for getting sober other than posting here? Is AA or rehab a possible way for you to get out of this holding pattern?

I know the cliches can be annoying, but they're usually true...nothing changes if nothing changes.

Why not plan to do something different after work? How about going to the gym or going for a long walk? You can come up with something that will help you to get through this.

I have felt like that many many times. It never did anything good for me. Don't do it, go to a meeting or go get some ice cream and go straight home! Just one day at a time

As others have said, put the AV aside and play the tape through as we all know what starting leads to and I would like to think and hope you do not want to go there.

We are with you

Glad you decided not to drink. I have gone back and reread my posts several times, I don't want to end up back there. Glad you are focused on today!!

Yupp, play the tape all the way to the end.
At best you will feel like absolute crap later.
At worst....well, that is fairly scary.
It's awesome that you posted on here before picking up. Good on ya!
I have faith that you have got this
