Back from vacation
Well I did it! I went to the beach for an entire week and didn't drink a thing! This was a first for me and I hope it will be the norm for
now on. There were a few moments that were hard ; sitting at the marina with an outdoor bar, watching the sunset on the beach from the back deck, after a long drive in the car down 95 south, to name a few. And there seemed to be wine everywhere!
I kept repeating the advice Dee gave me, to appreciate the time with my kids and boy did I ever. We did non stop activities things I would have never done while drinking. I would have started by lunch and continued until I passed out after dinner. I would have lingered over dinner in order to drink more. Instead we rushed thru dinner to go ride bikes and get ice cream. Thank you all so much for your inspiration!!! It was the best vacation I have ever had !!

Thomas59 a sober vacation was an eye opener for me. My advice is to stay busy and if you are with your children that should be easy to do. Now that I am back home I am feeling a little bored since we stayed so busy. I hope you have a great vacation. Having full days with tons a energy is the best feeling in the world!!!
