Tetra, since you're being switched to the nicer consultant, might be a blessing in disguise. Sounds like you're being placed where your temperament will be best suited? Maybe it's for the best.
Tetra, here's one. I had been comfortably ensconced in one position for about two years when I got pregnant with my son. While on maternity leave (this was 11 years ago now) I stopped in the office to show off the baby. My supervisor pulled me aside and asked me if I would be amenable to switching to a different position. I thought about it for a second and said "I suppose. Anywhere but X." The week before I was to return to work I got a call at home telling me that I was being switched over to X. I was livid. However, over the course of time I discovered that I actually preferred X and was again not happy when they up and moved me to Y, this time without even asking if I wanted to go.
I've adjusted all along to these moves and recently, as I said, it's been changing by the week it seems. We are extremely short staffed so i go where I'm needed. You can do this.

Evening,
Have been up to north Norfolk today (a place called Fakenham ) to see friend/ college about a possible little joint venture. We took a nearby stately home called Holkham Hall which I had never heard of (not that that is saying much). Really cool place

I wish I had took more photo - and bothered to read the guide. They must really dislike clueless idiots like me nosing round.
One thing I did notice in the Library was a complete set of Birds of America by John James Audobon - they alone must be worth a fortune. The photo is not of them (they were much larger and in a darker part of the library)

Welp, I just had a haircut so I'm all civilized and stuff again. Back at the office and HOLY COWBELLS, is the day going slow. Ugh. How the heck did every day on vacation fly by, but today the clock is moving backwards? On top of that I've had to come to grips with my recent indulgent eating behaviors, so I'm looking at a salad for lunch. But if I want to continue my nightly mint chip obsession, sacrifices need be made!
My wife has long hair, and I have three little blond girls AND a shaggy-haired son as well, so I'm no stranger to the tub hair issue. I pretty much clean it out every day (everyone else thinks it's too gross, even though I always point out that it was on their bodies before it went into the drain).

I expect your indulgent eating will wear off naturally to some extent U7775. I still eat a bit more bad stuff but not as much as the early days
OK last pic - there are much better ones on the webernet. This is the main section of the Library.
In Cluedo or Agatha Christie novels there is invariably a body on the floor but I couldn't see one anywhere

Ahhhh. Leaving Chicago. We survived. But my stress level got high enough this morning that I caught myself starting to hyperventilate. It caught me by surprise. I was doing really well up until then. It was just that I already had a lot I was trying to accomplish, and he kept coming up with more things he wanted me to do. Did my best. Some things I can try to take care of from home. I feel a huge sense of relief.
My mother is driving me crazy again. I never should have told her about my job. Now she thinks I'm lonely so it's back to the phoning all the time. I know she worries about me a lot and I do understand that really. But I have paid too high a price for my alcoholism.
No one wanted me to move into a flat on my own and I didn't want that either so I do have housemates. At least there are people here and I do chat to them when I see them. But we are not close. Also 2 of them are moving out in 2 weeks.
Blah. Hopefully things will settle down by the end of the month.

Sao, I've been there with my family. But it's been so long, I don't remember whether I was in the actual home.
My mother remembered it as a place where she'd ordered custom pottery while living nearby and teaching military dependents at the now-closed U.S. air base, Sculthorpe. This would have been in the late '50s. When I get home from work, I am going to have to check the mugs I have -- they were previously in my parents' home -- to see if there is reference to Holkham Hall on the bottom.
Funny. Though I don't remember going inside the home -- and I'm pretty sure we didn't -- I do remember there being a ferris wheel and other somewhat run-down looking carnival rides on the property.
