Kaily - I attend AA a couple of times a week and I highly recommend it. Without my face to face time spent with fellow alcoholics I am not sure if I could have stayed sober (I've been sober now for 3.5 years, but it took a bit of time to get there!). There are tons of meetings in London and so getting yourself to a meeting - any meeting - is one sure-fire way of getting face to face support. The only way to find out if this will help you is to 'suck it and see' i.e. go to a meeting. If you need someone to take you, then phone the helpline and ask for someone to do this and someone will

I'd suggest making a to do list of things you want to do then make yourself do them. Get out of the box your in and try new things. Going to AA might help. I spend a lot of time at the gym. I'm always checking out what's going on where I live. Doing these things alone isn't easy, but it beats sitting home with a bottle of vodka. Good luck. John
