I made it!

I thought working at a bar it would be hard not to drink. It wasn't at all, I saw things from a different perspective and saw what a mess some people become after drinking. A couple of people had this glazed over look in their eyes like they were possessed. No Thanks! I thought it was funny how some women are so catty, if I was drinking I would've been upset, being sober, I just laughed and shook my head. I was able to come home and cross another day off. Almost one week down

I'm with Soberwolf, congratulations, but I just worry that this is really soon in your recovery to be behind a bar. I also know people need to feed themselves, so I totally get it. Just don't let your guard down. I'd be nervous in a bar setting, but that is not my job, and you sound good at it!

Congrats! I agree with you. When I see how people and my friends start acting after a several drinks, I'm so glad I'm not drinking anymore. Talking loud especially. That's what I used to do and my husband would hush me. Went to a dinner party last night and actually had fun sober. ....woo hoo!!!

I didn't at all. It helps my coworkers are sober and are super proud and supportive, we just make fun of all the drunks together now
