Suggestions?

I live in Florida. I was 2 plus years sober but had a two hour relapse. I am looking for a great, sober community in which to start fresh. Any ideas?

Stay out of South Florida. Nothing but trouble to be made here.

What exactly is a "two hour relapse"? Did you drink two beers or two shots counting the time it takes for your liver to process it?

If you did either of those, I wouldn't focus on it too much. Many here would be elated to have 2 plus years under their belt. It doesn't need to start from day one and I'm sure you experience the benefits of living a sober lifestyle.

We're human and we make mistakes, keep up your great work.

F the drink, welcome to a community.

Yes, this absolutely! That was a slip and can be overcome. But if you continue.....well, you know. I had a few of those too. I decided to move forward without letting them discourage me. My resolve is stronger than ever, but so must be the vigilance.

Welcome

I think the danger of a slip is you can bounce right back...

It leads to more slips...eventually a bender...etc...

2 years w 1 slip is amazing. Stay clean.

I wouldn't dwell on it, just don't allow it to turn into a possible bender thinking you can handle it more often. Start from the mindset that you had in the beginning and stay positive and post on here often. Tons of support and understanding on here, we've all been there.
