Wow! I woke up dreading the headache and the nausea and the aftermath of a binge night of drinking, only to figure out that I'm sober again!! It feels like a ton of bricks off my shoulders. I know how it is to live sober and it is great! Took a year of drinking again, and accomplished nothing... Cheers to sobriety again!!

Oh my gosh, what a jolt!! Fortunately in a good way. I say "jolt" because I had a very vivid dream a few months ago, that I woke up to find a version of typical detritus around my apt- vodka glass left on the coffee table, some kind of delivery food untouched, etc- and was stunned awake with the realization it was just a dream. I hadn't thought about this in awhile but the relief!!!

Good for you! Keep going.

I have been sober almost a year and still wake up every morning grateful to not be in withdrawals..even though I haven't experienced heroin withdrawals in almost a year!

Isn't it wonderful though?
