36 Weeks

Now at 36 weeks sober.

Had a counseling session this past Friday. I am starting to view these as coaching sessions. Athletes and successful business people all have mentors/coaches and I think this is key to my staying on the right path.

I would recommend for anyone to add these counseling/coaching sessions as part of there recovery plan.

Over the head cold and am able to get back into the exercise routine again. I am down 21 lbs to 189 as of now - I have not seen that weight since college. Another benefit of staying sober.

Stick to your plans folks, we can do this!

Really great news, well done.
My exercise massively improved when I ditched the poison, despite my age I'm probably fitter than ever.

Wonderful and motivating I'm looking forward to when I can say I've had sobriety that long

Completely agree!! I have long been a believer in different kinds of mental health "help" (even when I didn't have a great dr and had to change, or didn't exactly "follow" their guidance - ahem, drinking). It is definitely a key part of my arsenal for sobriety. My sponsor is also a person in this role.

And congrats on 36 wks!
