Found a sponsor
I met a woman with 10 years of sobriety two nights ago. I listened to her speak in the meeting and really liked what she had to say. After the meeting, I approached her and got her number. Last night, I called her and asked if she would be my temporary sponsor, with the possibility of becoming a permanent one. I want to be careful whom I choose, because last time around, I picked a couple of duds, who didn't seem to enjoy sponsoring. I want to make sure that we have similar beliefs, goals, etc. But this one seems great. I look forward to talking to her again.
7 days for me!!!!!!!!! When I go to sleep tonight, I will have a full week of sobriety. This is the first time I've been clean this long since March and I'm so thankful! You guys have also been a great help! Much love!
