If you WANT to be sobriety, then keep dropping by. You're more likely to hear what you need to that way.
Why are you putting off recovery if that's what you know you need? If you're waiting for the day to come when it's going to be easy / fall into place or whatever, you're in for a long wait DD. Recovery starts when we start doing the work on it.
I hope you find your way back here and are ready to give yourself the best gift ever soon. X

Well had a blood panel the other day and they want me back to redo the basic panel the B12 and another one. So sounds like Mr Dr will shortly be telling me I have to cause we all know what re doing the B12 test means.
Is it? Really? I supose it depends how you define progress. Going to the doctor is just that. So, youve make progress in Going to the doctor. Going good to the doctor won't get or keep you sober though. Only you can do that bit. Sure, he can tell you reasons that drinking is bad for you, but my guess is that you already have a bunch of them in your head already, should you choose to think about them.
Just sounds like a different brand of procrastination to me. Recovery starts when we accept that we need to stop drinking, full stop. And when we become willing to take the necessary action to stay sober, one day at a time, and devise and work a plan of active recovery so that our sobriety is comfortable and sustainable.
You can't make PROGRESS on a journey until you've embarked in it. At the moment you're just browsing in the map store. When you become willing, and decide that you want to make progress, thats when you will choose a route and start walking the walk.
Wishing you all the best for your recovery, whenever that will be. BB
