Seven Today
 

Wow, made it 7 years clean and sober. Sobriety birthdays are always bittersweet because 2 years ago my daughter passed.

Just wanted to extend a big thank you to all of you for helping keep a dunk of my kind sober for a couple of 24 hours .

Even with some very hard times sobriety has brought me a life better than I could have imagined

Congrats on 7 years! That's an amazing accomplishment I hope to experience 1 day....at 87 days sober I have a long ways to go but I'm trucking along. As a mother who lost a son, I understand the bittersweet-ness of certain moments but I hold tight to knowing that he would want me to be sober and happy and living my life to the fullest!

Congratulations MI, and thank you for always being such a supportive voice on SR. You are very much loved, and I for one am so proud of how you have remained sober and supportive of others while struggling through the worst any of us can imagine as a parent.

Mir I was thinking about you yesterday you have been so helpful to me in dealing with grief just by your actions & words there was a time I didn't know about your loss and I had no idea because of how strong you are you have been a big help to me & to SR
