Congratulations! Your strength helps me with the "preparation" I want to do - the bolstering and shoring up of my sobriety- for future losses. I know my parents won't be here forever (of course not, but now that point of losing them seems much closer than ever before) and I look to folks like you for inspiration at going through all kinds of life stuff sober.

You are a wonderful contributor to SR.

MIR,
I have read your story many times. I get tremendous motivation from it. You've over come so much and yet found the strenght to remain super positive and sober. You give us all hope. Want to be just like you when I grow up!!!! Congrats my friend

Thanks but trust me you don't want to be like me when you grow up. I have a very long way to go before I'm who I want to be. As long as I am moving toward I'm not moving backward. Although I'll never reach the prize I know I did my best and that is all any of can do

You help a bunch of people who are hurting in big ways. Hell of a legacy in my book my friend.
