New in recovery
Hi. I am new to this site. I was in a treatment facility for 24 days for alcohol abuse. I was also diagnosed with Bi Polar and started on new medication. Grateful for my 70 days of sobriety!! Hope to keep it up. I now its a long road ahead.

I am a bipolar alcoholic, as well.
Regarding your recovery plan and SR:
I can only speak from my own experience.
I find that SR fills a gap when I cannot attend face-to-face meetings.
Lately, my lifestyle makes attendance at meetings difficult, so I am here more often.
To be honest, I find real-world meetings more powerful than cyber recovery sites.
But, for some of us, SoberRecovery is number one in our recovery plan.
Whatever works -- but, work for it.
You are worth it.
