I always take a cooler with me to the beach. It usually contains beers, wine, and hotdogs and Gatorade for my kid. As you can imagine, I usually end up pretty beat.

I am trying to figure out what to put in the cooler today since I don't want to drink. It may sound silly, but I honestly want to learn new habits. Please let me know your suggestions...

Soft drinks, sparkling water, juice - whatever takes your fancy JS - don't overthink it - just go and have a good time

Take the book Alcoholics Anonymous with you to read. You may not be alcoholic, but it is an in-depth textbook on the subject, and is very much worth the read, if you are considering alcohol may be causing some problems, or just want to start new non-drinking habits.
