Getting back on track

I'm back on day 6. I had another hiccup for about a week since I last posted. Not really looking for pats on the back, more just telling on myself. I need some accountability. I hope to get back to posting more. That's all I got, thx.

Honesty is good. We all have to get honest if we want to stay sober Do you have any kind of recovery plan you're working?

Welcome back bluedog. Have you decided what you might do differently this time? I'd say a week of drinking was a bit more than a "hiccup", would you agree?

Yeah, pats on the back are good but I'd rather hear about your plan going forward bluedog?

Yea, a week is more than a hiccup, I guess I have a funny way of expressing things. My plan for now is to post more here. My counselor moved so I should think about finding another one.

I've gotten through several of the steps and feel like I'm ready to make amends. But I don't have a sponsor. I'll say working the steps has been life-changing, but very difficult. I had to take a pause, then the relapse. I feel like I've been through the ringer, and I'm not just talking about the relapse.

I got humbled pretty good by someone today, probably what I needed. Anyway, hope to rely on SR while I figure this out. I've still got a family issue in regards to meetings so, that doesn't seem to be going away. Anyway, thx for the replies.
