What a great way of putting it. My first post on here and it really resonated with me. I'd read what others have said about not truly seeing the benefits of being sober until you get there. Unfortunately i've never got there. On day 5 now, mainly cos my daughter has just been born. She is worth more than 100k a day to me. I don't want her to know the drunk me, she deserves better as does her mum.
