Had the same thirty dollars in my pocket for five or six days.:lmaoThat used to never happen. I love it

Being able to pass the boss in the hall w confidence knowing I don't reek like the floor of a bar and my eyes are white as snow.

Hangover- free mornings!

That is a very good feeling...... I never had to ask myself where my money went, I always knew.

I love the hangover free Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The rest are pretty darn good too.

I also always know where my care keys are!!!

Having my kids actually ask me to take them somewhere...... Because they know I can now, and want to take them more than I want to drink. (Not a little thing, but more of a big thing) that makes me smile now.

Yeah I don't wake up trying to retrace how I spent all my money when I knew it all went to beer and cigarettes! I've quit both!

I like not having to travel with mouthwash, perfume, & eyedrops always on hand. (I'm sure I fooled no one ;) )

I also remember my dreams now. 15 days in sobriety there a little weird sometimes but I never had dreams when I was drinking

I Like not having to clean up the mess I made via text in the morning.

Haha forgot about the idiotic late night text messages.

I like not hiding wine bottles and taking them to a recycling center so no one will see them in my trash.

Walking into my kitchen in the morning and not wondering who has broken in during the night, emptied the fridge and strewn all the food about to make a deformed sandwich then left it on the kitchen bench to rot.

I actually had a little realization this morning: I don't have dandruff like I used to. I was grabbing the dark blue sport coat and thinking, it's nice but the dandruff really shows on this one.

Then it occurred to me - wait, I can't remember the last time I noticed any dandruff.

Drinking causes dandruff. Who knew? :)

Being able to go out somewhere at 7pm because I am sober.
