Night everyone- I'm home.
Didn't make it for a walk- picked a friend up for coffee and a drive; she hasn't been well and didn't feel up for a walk.

I'm so hungry but I've already eaten so much.
I think it's comfort eating, two people close to me haven't been feeling well- and not a ' cold'
Weird stuff too-
They think my best friend might have MS
And Roanoke had something happen today too I just heard about a few mins ago
His face and feet got swollen, couldn't catch his breath, body felt on fire, then he got really dizzy and fainted- has this happened to anyone??
He said he feels fine now and that's never happened before.

I'm just worried because both of them are in their 30's
They should be healthy- I really need to quit smoking.

Not drinking but I feel like ordering a large pizza and comfort eating the whole thing manically.

I won't, I'm gonna have a shower and a DIY spa and try to stop worrying.

I'm really ready to see pix from gettingsmarter's trip already!!

DIY spa is nice, Jen. Enjoy.

I understand about the comfort eating, I love doing that. I'm a little underweight so I get a free pass. It's nice not to have to worry about that. I feel bad for those who have to watch what they eat or have trouble losing weight. I know what it's like to battle food but in a different way.

I went to a late aa meeting. It was a good one.

I'm still waiting for dude's response to my counter offer on the job. I guess he'll answer tmro at this point. I hope that's not a bad sign. I was hoping for a text back right away that said looks good, let's do it.

Nothing I can do but turn it over. What's meant to be will always find a way.

Xoxo

I hope it all works out melina! Financial pressure is the worst!
Cause you can't really do anything else, without finances you get a bit stuck.

Happy Sober Wednesday everyone!

Lot's of great stuff going on in here, I can't keep up. You guys move faster than a speeding train that's late for the station (or bus)

I see we have double shotgun today.

From brynn:
Mesa, I'm in love!....You had me at 'Vacuum' !
I was going to ask if my house was next.

Everyone have a great day!

Then it would be Lance Armstrong...

I just over cooked some chicken thighs. But the house smells wonderful... Nothing a plate of rice and beans won't cure...
guess I gotta take care of her first today - work day

Good luck on the counter offer Melina. Keep in mind that in negotiations, a quick answer is not always the best approach. And his not responding immediately is not necessarily a bad thing.

I'm hoping to find gravel cheaper than the local guy who will deliver 2 tons for 40 bucks... that comes to around 150... looking for cheaper but I doubt it's out there... one other possibility locally.

Had doors open all night, debating whether or not to turn on the AC today... which reminds me, I need to install a directional vent - an extension - because she covers the vent in her office with books and I need that air flow. Women just don't understand HVAC
close off that section of supply and the whole dynamic of the system changes. I failed on teaching her to load the dishwasher properly, and the washer... this actually affects $$$$, but trying to explain it...
it's not like deciding which lipstick to wear... much more complicated than that

Good morning all and have a great Hump Day.

Remember, the worst part about Wednesday is trying to remember if the 'E' comes before or after the 'N'.

Good morning friends,

Good luck on the job front Melina - I hope you gain a windfall.

Good Wednesday image SUID!

Very disturbed sleep last night mixed with a stressful day. Feeling very panicky and seeing danger everywhere. This is my neurosis and it will pass.

I am beginning to doubt of Lance Armstrong ever cycled on the moon now, given recent revelations.

Hang in there, Behan.

The day Louis Armstrong played trumpet on the moon is one of my earliest memories.

decided to have breakfast, and I realized that one of my biggest vices, beside ice cream, is hazelnut coffee creamer... sure, I could drink it black and I'm okay with that., but c'mon now, an artificially flavored, non-dairy high fructose corn syrup liquid that turns you coffee into a nice sort of tan color and tickles your taste buds... why not?

As I was listening to morning radio yesterday, they had Lenny Dykstra aka: 'Nails' on the program. He is promoting his autobiography. If you were a Phillies fan, you definitely remember him. If you were a Mets fan, maybe. And if you followed the sports tabloids, you may recall some of his antics.
Anyway, he got around to discussing performance enhancing drugs.
He also kinda sounded 'out of it'. He went on to say that 'everyone' or anyone who was anyone used them. His logic, and I fully believe it, was that using the 'drugs' vs not using them meant the difference between a 60K contract and a million dollar contract. The decision to use HGH and other steroids was basically a financial decision for the athletes.
The other night I watched a documentary on a cyclist. Same thing - EVERYBODY used them. He got injured and was out for a couple years. When he returned - after training harder than ever - he found he was being left in the dust. Then his 'teammates' suggested that he use 'something' to help. He discovered that, again, EVERYBODY was using them.
I can give a pass to athletes who use performance enhancing drugs. But if you are going to lie about it and act like somebody killed your puppy when accused, you can go eff yourself.
I found out they were doing a documentary on Lance Armstrong celebrating his accomplishments etc. What a great guy! During the making of the doc, the truth came out and it had to change direction.
What a scum bag.

Pro sports athletes should be allowed to use the stuff. Make it an even playing field.
Pete Rose BELONGS in the baseball hall of fame btw...
Or let me go and remove a good percentage of others who should be kicked out based on similar criteria...
