Hi
I've known for about 2 years now I need help. An unfortunate (or maybe fortunate??) situation at work brought my drinking struggle to light in May. I've been hiding it for a while esp from my husband. In a program, but relapsed recently. I have the support of friends, family and husband but this early stage has been hard. I'm turning to posting on here to be accountable. I'm finally in the anger stage of grief and coming out of denial. Allowing myself to be upset will hopefully help me in sobriety. I've lurked here for a few years now and I'm finally ready to be real with myself. I don't want to lose my husband, friends or family to this damn disease. Thanks for reading.

Welcome. I joined 2 years ago and one thing I can tell you is that the folks here are loyal. Through my sober stints and even relapses they have been fully supportive, non judgmental and given great advice. So stick here, we'll take care of you.
