Month 1 Milestone
 

It feels so good this morning to say 'sober for 1 month'. I was never a heavy drinker but drank ever day for 40+ years. I found SR a few days into my journey and can say it has made a huge difference. Thanks to everyone for sharing your feelings, stories and daily encouragement. I'm in for another day and another month.

Congrats.

I am just one week ahead of you (June 11th--but I was in the hospital, so not sure if that week counts--I certainly wasn't drinking). Six weeks ago today I went in; five weeks ago today I was released.

Well done on the month!

It is hard. I was never a heavy drinker but enjoyed my drinks. I quit smoking 6 years ago...figure if I can do that I can quit drinking too.
