Stress

I slipped up over a stress and trigger but I'm back and on day 5. I'm definitely not going back and the experience was not enjoyable, actually boring. It's odd because what I remember from years ago about how much fun I had hasn't been there for a long, long time. Anyway, I'm glad to have this place. Thanks and have a great day everyone!

Glad your back SC. Also glad to hear that it was boring and that it wasn't enjoyable. I would accept that as a good sign.

After a long stint of being alcohol free, I sat down with the full intent on getting drunk or buzz last fall and nothing happened. It was terrible actually and I poured out my 2nd drink. Been good ever since. I wish you the best.

Thanks Anna, it is good to be back. Thanks for the supporting words everyone. Drinking wasn't the same as it was when I was young, especially knowing how dangerous it is to use in escaping stress. Even when I fell off the wagon almost two years ago I havent been as bad as when I was in my 20s but it has been a challenging struggle at times. I'm just tired of it. Tired of the potiential hangovers and knowing I shouldn't be doing it. Its like living with a certain level of defeat. Besides, being sober is better in every way. Thank you everyone!
