GhostFace - I have always found your strength and courage inspiring and wanted to chime in with a few thoughts. Please don't be so hard on yourself about slipping up on the drinking and also the smoking. Addiction is a disease - would you beat yourself up for sneezing when you have a cold?
Hope your are well and on your way to sobriety again. You fall down, you pick yourself up and you go on...

Thank you all I'm 15 hours sober now. Smoked 2 cigarettes and feel like crap. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard when nothing seems to be working.
I'm hitting rock bottom and I'm trying to dig myself out of this hole.
I've been depressed and really stressed.
Thank you all for your support.

Really sorry you're going through such a tough time. Are you seeing anyone about the stress and depression?
You already know that the drinking is adding to that. I hope you can get back into your gym routine. It was helping keep you sober, and exercise is a real help with depression.

I know ya posted this a few days ago but wanted to say that feelings aren't always true, like this one.
you may FEEL worthless and hopeless, but that's a straight out lie.
have you reached out locally for support? aa meetings, therapist or anything like that?

Hey guys, its been a long time. I've been on some bad binges for the past two months and today I'm making a commitment to take control of my life again. I had to leave work early due to a bad panic attack and i know the main reason is guilt and the bad hang over.
Glad to see you back!
What are you going to do different this time?
You had 230 days once, that's a nice chunk of sober time. I can relate to the frustration of not being able to get back to sobriety.
I had 5 1/2 years sober one time, then I thought I was cured. Wrong! I spent the next year trying to get sober. I would be sober for a week or 10 days and then go on a 3 day binge. I kept repeating this pattern for a year, I just couldn't stay sober.
Here's what worked for me. I finally gave up and tried AA and also got on this website every day (and joined one of the monthly sobriety classes). That worked for me and I'm now approaching 7 years sober.
