Yes it will make you fat. I've lost approximately 60 pounds through diet and intense exercise since quitting. The bulk of the weight came off during the first ~6 months. There's hope! |
Why not just quit the alcohol, and see what happens. Do you think you are alcoholic? |
It could be both the alcohol and the drug, but it's hard to know. I worked out hard when I was drinking and even with all the endurance events I was doing, couldn't outwork the amount of calories I was putting in my system, esp as I got older. Like others, I'd also eat terrible food during a night of heavy drinking. I'd usually put on 10 pounds during my favorite beer season. I usually went on WW to manage my weight after the holidays. With giving up drinking, weight is no longer an issue. |

Before I started drinking and taking olanzapine I only weighed 85 kgs but now I weight 100kgs and some days I weigh 100-1-5 kgs. I hear olanzapine makes you gain weight but I also hear alcohol does too but quitting the medication is out of the question because even if i wanted to stop taking olanzapine i cant but i can with alcohol. Makes you eat unhealthy "Hey let's go to McDonald's for 4 double cheesburgers!!!" Slows your metabolism Taxes your live, so you process stuff more slowly & not as well. Yes, bad. I don't know what olanzapine is, but I can't imagine taking that with alcohol is a terrific thing that's wonderful for your health. |
