Hi there, just wishing you all the best, day 2 for me and this site kept me sober in the small hours when I couldn't sleep. Much support here.

It looks to be a very active website. Just what I need after a long day where I cannot make it to a meeting but need to communicate with other addicts.

Hi Caf - so good to meet you.

I felt all alone when I first joined here, but that quickly changed. I was so relieved to find others who had been through the same things I had. There's plenty of encouragement here.

Welcome Caf! You have come to the right place. I found this site at much needed time. I was 3 months sober (which is the longest I've ever gone without drink before, besides pregnancy) and I knew if I wanted to keep going I had to do something different. It only took me 25 years of drinking (and not drinking, relapsing, etc) to figure that out.
This site has given me a much needed education on alcoholism and sobriety. Because of SR, I've made a plan and have filled (constantly tweaking) my toolbox with tools on how to stay sober. Working on that milestone of 9 months sober.

Warm welcome Caf, this is a special place. A very big useful, compassionate, understanding piece of the sober jigsaw.
xx
