Happy July 4th to those of you who celebrate.
Thanks ruby and sao, still feeling delicate but hey ho. Might try and fit some yoga into the day, the mindfulness practices seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. .. need to get back to it.
Have a good day xxx

Happy Monday to everyone & Happy July 4th to my fellow Americans! Not much by way of plans for today as most festivities in my little ole area of the country revolve around drinking and illegally blowing things up. Since I quit drinking and beings that I prefer both eyes and all 10 fingers for work tomorrow-I've opted out. Now what to do?

way to go on 3 weekends in a row gatorman

and I see Bim celebrated the 500th post -

another nice day on tap, I'll probably work in the yard - imagine...
and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered solar light batteries from amazon... a fraction of the cost of the bb stores price

I wonder, if the British had won and we (USA) were not the independent types the we so revel about, would we have voted to stay in the EU?

speaking of hair product...

have a great day all.

be careful today you 'mericans, way too much temptation to get in the 'celebration mode' "As American as apple pie?" Seems beer replaced apple pie some decades ago as the 'American as' thing... Be a kid again and drink lemonade or ice tea instead.

and then there' this...

Good morning everyone. It's gray and humid here today. Quiet for the time being. We went to the fireworks and mostly enjoyed it. My children were quarrelsome.

I'm grilling later for my family. Chicken and vegetable skewers and hamburgers. Nothing elaborate.

Melina glad your zoo trip went well.

I like the cat eyes. That is always freaky.

Good morning! I "slept in" until 6:30 this morning. I'm dragging my son shopping today. He has 2 pairs of shorts that fit him. Stores are having huge sales today so we can save some moola. I'll appease him with whatever lunch he wants, and a trip to Trader Joe's which he always enjoys.

Happy 4th!

Morning all. LBrain, you inspired me to bake an apple pie today!

Busy day yesterday. Built a new open faced cabinet for our pantry, then laid laminate flooring in said pantry. Starting to look good. Then off to the in laws for Fourth of July festivities. Ate until I was ready to explode and then spent the rest of the evening making sure the kiddos didn't blow themselves up! Got home late again, so just lazing about this morning.

Happy Fourth of July everyone. Hope it's safe, happy and sober for all.

Good morning eveyone! Happy 4th of July - so nice to have a Monday off.
the fireworks were a pain last night but I managed to get some sleep. Tonight will probably be worse. The airconditioning helps cause I can keep the windows shut tight.
anyway. ..I better get out for a walk cause it's supposed to be hot today. Going to swim some laps later.
I might go do some shopping. I feel like buying something other than food. Not sure what. Maybe something for the house.
then relax....watch more of The Americans, and then baby back, baby back ribs...yeah suid!!!

I realized 2 things, I didn't check the weather, and I didn't eat breakfast - solved.

Looks like rain this afternoon so I am reluctant to drag the saw out/. But I moved some dirt and made changes to the plan
As SW says, you have to see the big picture - I am going with fountain on side of deck - it will be most visible there. The open area is blocked by a tree and arbor - assuming the vines grow properly, and above everything else in the yard except the things above it, which are behind it.
The open area may morph into a small 'pond' with a statue of a small kid peeing into it. Next years...

or maybe this

Lol Brain!

Happy Independence Day fellow Americans!

In a strange turn of events it's been thundering here all night and is overcast and cooler?!?! Strange weather for July 4 indeed, but we'll take it!

It will be a family day and from the looks of it maybe the festivities will be indoors. Picnic food and a fireworks show tonight! It's been a fun weekend but I'm pooped! I'll have to go to the office tomorrow just to get some alone time ha!
