A light at the end of the tunnel

Hi all.Hope you are well.I am 6weeks sober today. And can truely say that I feel so much better.I haven't had any insomnia problems these past few weeks but the depression and anxiety on waking was pretty bad.none yesterday morning or this morning. The crippleing head aches are now just a dull ache as feeling calmer is definately helping. What has been so helpful is now knowing that our brains are recovering after being scrambled,as some folk have described in recent posts.I can't thank SR enough.

Sounds like you quit early enough in your drinking that you didn't suffer extra...like me....

Never go back.

I am just now pulling through the horrors of anxiety and spacey feelings that 13 years of steady boozing did to me. It was maddening.

Hi.I did 15yrs.10yrs to self medicate to ease the fall-out from previous bad stuff then the last 5yrs because my body needed it.Stay focused and strong. You will feel better soon.
