Hi All ,
Ken asked me to set the bus in motion for everyone today .
Everyone is welcome , it is not a race , we just got to get through .
Trying to have a happy weekend is great but it isn't a prerequisite.
If you end up off it and in a strange part of town , we will be around and you can get back on again asap .

Thank You , I'm up for a great weekend , I'm on holiday till 10th July .
A few days ago I was worried about thoughts of drinking on this spell off but I'm fine I have no desire to drink whatsoever . I have a new surface book coming today which I won on a popular bidding site at a saving of £500 so I'm exited about that .
Life in general is good for me and my family , in fact I feel better both mentally and physically than I have done for some time . I feel a sense of happiness and well-being , maybe my book is working ( The great pain deception ) , i am devouring every word of this .
I get my annuity payout tomorrow so there's a few bob at my disposal ( Thanks be to God , I don't like smugness and am grateful for all in my life ).
Only thing that's a Minus is our weather here in Scotland , its to struggle to reach 14c the next few days with showers to boot .

I woke feeling a lot better today. I have no idea what is going on. I don't have the rash so maybe this is a pinch nerve. Oddest freaking thing. I won't go in either direction until it passes. Fingers crossed.

Hey Weasel, please take it easy, if it is shingles it doesn't necessary come out in a rash to start with and it sometimes lingers... my MIL gets it about once a year. It's VERY irritating. Do you have some soft paraffin cream around, just in case, as it's a long weekend for you guys. Yes, fingers crossed it will pass.

Hey Elke... No cream. But the pain is a lot better today. I do know it starts as what I have been having and that's why the doc was thinking that. Odd. Not out of the woods but I am hopeful!!!

It was more my bus mates I was worried about.
Quite a few seemed to be struggling last week and I thought we could do with a lift!
I went out last weekend, didn't drink. Had a great night. Drove my friend and I home. Very proud.
I'm going out this weekend too - movies.. Something easy. I feel ready now to face the world a bit more and live. I don't want to hide away as much.
I'm going with close friends who don't drink around me and know it's important for me that I don't drink.
Gotta live, gotta dance, gotta love.

Hello all. Independence Day weekend for us 'Mericans, so our weekend goes through Monday the 4th. Lots of parties and festivities and fun to be had, but also lots of temptation. I'm committed to actually remembering the weekend, because I love seeing my kids watch the fireworks.
