Enjoying dinner at the moment. We're having BBQ chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, corn on the cob, watermelon slices, and blueberries. Chilled ginger beer to drink, and later there's a raspberry tart.

The beagles are having chicken and potato salad, lol.

galumpki is a halupki with a different spelling - eh?

lot's of good stuff posted here today -- great work gang...
nice sign by Thelma and Louise... ah, Ven and Marty I mean...

had a light day working. Just pulled weeds planted a couple things and a little working the dirt... got my pants in the laundry... I scolded the wife last time she included them with other clothes... they definitely get washed separately

had a chicken breast leftover from this morning's culinary delite... so I split it in two and fried it up to make chicken sammies w/lettuce n tomato with a mayo/mustard spread... and dill pickles... something different...
it seems 1930 (730 PM) is the official start of the neighborhood mayhem.
I got some figerin to do on how I want to layout the last section in the back...

Mrs Brain's only comment when I asked her what kind of fountain she wanted was, "A nice one." Well, there's some nice one's and then there's the 1000+ dollar nice ones. This thing is starting to get out of hand...

good luck on the move tomorrow Tetra... I think it was a silly question myself, Where are you going Timbuktu? No, I'm moving into my own place and I need MY stuff. Can't be too difficult to grasp that concept...

Mesa, I thought it was 29 palms when I saw the photo. I figured one of the missile silos blew up... but I don't think their hair would have stayed in place for the photo if that happened...
I guess I should probably have some ice cream in honor of... in honor of there being ice cream in the freezer

I just gotta say, the grass is dead dried out around here and bottle rockets are flying everywhere...
I don't recall exactly when it happened that I became a responsible adult.

Weasel, I'd leave the cat on the couch and lock the bedroom door. But that probably wouldn't work anyway...

soberP - dogs LOVE potato salad...

Yeah, these dogs sure love it, Brain. They had BBQ chicken, potato salad and coleslaw (no onions). They were lapping it up making grunting pig noises. I love it. Haha.

I had a lab that would not eat peas. Even if they were mixed in the food.

HAHA.. So Chuckie was not named after the horror movie possessed doll... But he does live up to his name. There are times when he will be across the room sitting perfectly upright. I look away and look back he is 5 feet closer in the same position. Staring at me. Look away again and he is a few feet closer. He does this a lot and I just die laughing every damn time. He is really a beautiful animal. And if he has any idea what he is doing then he is also a comic genius.

These dogs will sometimes turn down raw chicken breast. I kid you not. They want it roasted and tasty.

But they'll eat almost anything slathered in butter!
