I have to stop this drinking! It's such a problem for me. It's my life long struggle. I want to stop. I love the feeling of being sober, so why do I keep going back to the alcohol? It's like a bad relationship. I feel very alone. Am I going to be OK?

Thank you all for responding. Just hearing from others who have been there helps me so much. I am going to be ok. I can do this. No I don't have a specific plan, how do I get one? What do I need to do? My plan right now is just never ever take a drink again. I can live without it and have a wonderful life.

Yes Hope2017 we are going to be ok and we can do it together! I decided to take today off work and I have a doctor appt this afternoon. Let's be strong and healthy and stop letting alcohol have control. We are taking control of our futures today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
