Six Months and Feeling Fabulous!
I'm grateful, I'm excited, I'm positive and I'm happy! And I'm SOBER..six months!!!
Its been an amazing love story with myself (thus far)...getting to know myself and grow to love myself.
Self-discovery is beautiful!
Recovery is the ANSWER...it is a lot of work but it's what has kept this here previously lost, hopeless, drunken, sad girl alive! Six months into recovery and I feel great (and am lookin FAB!) My nervous system is starting to heal allowing me to feel clear, peaceful, happy, hopeful and helpful!
I definitely think about drinking...but I know the desire is the addiction and I think about how I don't REALLY want to drink...I really just want to avoid some feeling. So even though it's still tough at times....it's a million times better than it was because I am now prepared with many tools to be able to work through the cravings and stay sober!
Who'da evah thunk! ME....SOBER.....and happy, peaceful and grateful!
Your love story with yourself can happen to...just hang in there...don't give up...ever...but do work at it...recovery through discovery!
