Intro to myself - Hello
Hello SR,
I was looking around on the internet and stumbled on this site, I am amazed at technology and what is here for us in recovery!
My name is Kat and I am grateful to be in recovery! I would be what you would call a "friend and family" but recently through my internal work I would honestly say I too have had my own issues with alcohol. As it is said in the blue book, the heavy drinker, who with will power and knowledge can stop.. originally I "stopped" to support someone near and dear to me, through these years I have come to ask myself if maybe it was not something more. This is something I still get to discover and do work on, as they say more shall be reviled.
My sober date is 12/28/12, and my emotional sobriety date is March of 2013. I try to stay focused in my recovery and remember to be grateful for what I have today, and focus on that.
