Hello everyone. I almost have 2 years sobriety after 20 years of drinking/using and I'm just looking for some friends who get it. I have a hard time relating to most of society and just want to meet some new people.

I'm in Flower Mound. I know the feeling. Most of my friends drink so i don't see them often.

Thank yall for welcoming me. This is a completely new world in a lot of different ways and I think its going to be a constant adjustment but it's definitely a fight worth fighting.

congrats on (almost) two years.
I'm guessing you are not involved in any face to face support with others in recovery. I'd encourage that as well. I have a few friends that I can turn to when it's crazy in my head, and they get me.
