Yesterday was my first year anniversary sober. Went to a meeting, got my coin, shared a bit and was a good evening.

I was apprehensive in the beginning after having gone back and forth in the program if a year was truly possible.

Joining this site in 2012 (even though I hadn't been sober from then till now all the way through) was one of the hidden gems I was able to discover.

So far it has been helpful and a blessing to see a place with this amount of support, information, experience and triumphs (and yes even the setbacks with the confidence to return and share) be accessible 24/7.

I know I'm not on here or posting very much due to work, training and meetings and other life stuff. However, SR is definitely a staple in my journey of recovery and will continue to be.

Thank you all and to all the family's Happy Father's Day come tomorrow.
