So I have basically kept an eye on this village for the past 9 months. I decided to get sober today. This is for the millionth time. Also for alcohol only. Can anyone lead me to other "alcoholic threads or help"???? Please and thanks!

Congrats on your decision! It takes a while to get to the point that you're ready to jump on the wagon. I have not regretted it.

Regarding your question about other alcoholic threads - I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Get through the detox, then it is a mental game.

Remember, you are an addict. You are fighting to get clean.

We were not intended to drink alcohol.

Don't believe the hype. There is no problem drinking can't make worse.

How much time do you devote to working on sobriety each day?

Write out all your reasons for wanting to quit and review the list through-out each day, thinking carefully about every reason. Then come here every day as well. I think a whole lot of time is needed to nip those urges in the bud, before they get out of hand.
You sound like you really want to quit👍😁
