"Miracle Morning" by Ed Harold. Not directly related to recovery per se, but rather how to make every day count more, which , I believe, is very important part of any recovery.

sober......and staying that way
I am reading a book called "Sober...and Staying That Way:The Missing Link in the Cure for Alcoholism" by Susan Powter, a fitness guru from the 90's. She is the loud woman with the bleach blonde buzz cut whose motto was "STOP the INSANITY!" She talks about the biochemistry of alcoholics as well as her belief that "the government, the hospitality industry, current recovery thinking, and the advertising industry are making sure that alcoholics are not getting the information necessary to stay sober". It is a bit dated, but still pretty interesting stuff.
I so badly want to read Caroline Knapp's Drinking - A love story. Usually cost a pretty penny to get these books in SA.
At the moment I am reading a book in my native language (Afrikaans) . More of an inspirational story (non-fiction) about a woman who was raised in a shack. She is currently a national news anchor. I love stories like this one.

I've been into audio books as of late. Right now it's Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, 30 days to sobriety by Jack Canfield. Just finished up the Mood Cure. Which is very interesting. It talks about how the amino acids play such a big role in brain function - depression, addiction, happiness.
Something along the lines of the Mood Cure is the "Vitamine Cure to Alcoholism" - it gets into vitamins and minerals instead of amino acid supplementation, but I have been doing both with fantastic success.

I am so technologically challenged, I never even thought that far. I don't have a kindle but I could use a Cloud Reader yes! Thank you for the suggestion.
