a likely story

I am reminded of my experience in Orlando some years ago visiting a friend's house... nasty. They were everywhere - E.V.E.R.Y. WHERE!
Kids sitting/napping on the couch with more than one crawling across their faces - true! It was disgusting.
In other news, I'm awake now. Wife kicked me out of bed because she needs sleep and has to get up in the morning... ??????, it is morning...
no sign of any ants in the kitchen... but I know they're not far away...

I look outside, smells like rain... dew point is present but not raining.
I look on wu and see map - I am surrounded by green and yellow.
They say it's going to rain all day... looks like I'm setting up the canopy. No not the kind made with animal crackers... this is one of those work rain or shine kinda days... I love waiting till the last minute to do things...
you awake yet Olives? I'll be doing stuff, send me text...

We say Harry Carey in PA also....well at least my mom did.....she also cooked with lard. Dad had 3ish heart attacks and recently had surgery to remove plaque from his carotid artery. I do not cook with lard. Hanging around trying to beat LB on shotgun

Afternoon

England football fans disgraceful themselves again - at least they are not around this part of France.

89 this morning - a 9 on the second hole got me off to a bad start. Back 9 in 41 to scrape respectability

At last the weather has turned reasonable

People used to cook with that stuff in the UK too Sim - until the 1960s Olive Oil was not sold in foods shops for cooking but in chemists and was strictly for medicinal purposes. Life expectancy was about 23 Lol!

It isn't the lard but combining it with excessive refined carbs and sugars.

Proctor and Gamble wanting to make money on Crisco got it demonized in the U.S. so they could sell their product.

Current research is interesting--saturated fat is good for you

The TOP 3 reasons why YOU should be eating LARD
