Failed, scared to post

Well, I did do good. I almost made it to the 1 month mark, which is my anny. on Saturday. 11 years, hell and high water. He's on vaca and I'm fine, just chose to drink. Nothing prompting it, I just think since I'm not a daily drinker, etc., etc., bs , I give excuses to myself. Honestly, no other reasons. No huge cravings, yet they are there, but no reason they can't be battled. I'm honestly just numb right now and I do not like this feeling.

Welcome back Babes, I remember that feeling all too well. Sometime we need more daily accountability so we don't forget why we quit in the first place, have you considered meetings of any kind?

Just because today wasn't a sober day, doesn't mean tomorrow can't
be.

Keep fighting<3

`Glad you came back so soon to post instead of listening to that voice that tells us not to admit our relapse. I made a few of these similar posts myself during my years here. The important thing is to step back and try to find out what might help you before you get to this point next time. Even something as simple as posting in both the morning and evening gratitude threads every single day helped me feel accountable as well as keeping my mind on recovery.

The trick is to find a 24/7 defence against the first drink. That was the choice that brought about total and permanent recovery.

Let us know how you are doing today and don't give up on yourself.
You can achieve and maintain long term sobriety. Many of us here have done it here and so can you.

Hi Babes, I'm glad you posted. I'm sorry you're struggling right now. Since you said you are not a daily drinker, maybe having a solid plan in mind to help you when you do feel you want to drink, would be helpful.

Keep reading and posting.
