2 Years-Thank You SR
Hello to all,
Two years ago I hit what I would have to say was my bottom. I have not taken a drink or used any substances since. I am living life on life's terms, one blessed day at a time.
I reached out for help here on SR and started working, really working the AA program. My life since has been truly blessed. I enjoy a very spiritual life, and work very hard with other alcoholics in many aspects of service work. Only another drunk can understand what we all go through. That fellowship, and being brutally honest with myself, every moment of the day, have kept me sober, and very happy these past two years. There is a way out, and it takes the admission that we absolutely cannot do this alone. We need to give up our will and accept that we can never drink like other people. The result is amazing.
Thank You all for your years of support, openness and sharing.
Blessings to you all-BSA
