3 weeks

Good morning, all,

I have been checking in and reading, but haven't posted. Day 21 today. I've been doing better than I thought; am over halfway through a HUGE afghan that I need to finish in two weeks. I get a passing thought to drink, but no major cravings and I can get past them pretty easily.

It's a beautiful day, and even though I'm stuck in the office, I'm focused and not hungover, and that is a wonderful thing.

My oldest nephew graduates from high school this weekend, and his grad/going away party is in two weeks. Fun things coming up, and I'm excited to be able to be mentally present and fully engaged in them!

Hope everyone has a peaceful day.

Thank you for all of the kind words and support!

Last night I was tested, and REALLY wanted a drink, but let it ride.

Was mad at my BF, for a couple of reasons. We went out for dinner, and while this probably sounds odd, driving into the sun I noticed two very distinct footprints on his windshield. No way would I have ever missed those had they been there before. I asked him where they came from, he doesn't know. First he said from me, but no - people who put their feet on dashboards and windshields are one of my biggest pet peeves and I never do it. Nobody besides me ever rides in his truck, so now he doesn't remember how they got there. The whole thing just makes me uncomfortable, it's an odd thing to find. We had one issue about 6 months ago when he was in a local theater play and got to talking a lot to the gal that starred in it - too much to really be appropriate. I won't go into details, but we worked through that. This, made me feel like that did (all I saw to tip me off then was a look between them and I knew SOMETHING was up....I have good instincts and I'm rarely wrong when I get that feeling like I've been punched in the gut). So, I'm trying to figure this one out, but it brought about the same kind of feeling.

Then, dinner. I had mentioned not wanting to go to a bar, we ended up going to a sports bar which was fine, we've been there before and sit at the same table and it's a pretty quiet place. He orders a beer. >: ( Really? He felt bad afterwards and said he should have asked, my position was, you REALLY didn't think of that first? Ugh.

I sat through dinner grinding my teeth, but I made it. Today is another day, number 22.
