Who's had them? Do you think alchohol was the cause? I had 3 last october and had surgery to remove them. I am the only person I know to ever have them. I'm also the only person I know who drinks (drank) heavily. Just curious

I've had them 4 times in my life, twice they had to be surgically removed- but that was way before my drinking days (I didn't begin that phase of my life until 40).

I had one after my last bender. Probably one of the most painful things I've been through. I think it's likely alcohol contributed.

I've had eight of them, but most came before my alcoholism. They may or not be related but I do know that dehydration plays a big part in them and I've always had problems with getting enough fluids. Since we're constantly dehydrated when we're drinking, it may have less to do with the booze and more to do with the fact that we don't drink enough water.

I had them while drinking. Not fun stuff. Haven't had one since I quit drinking (5 years now). Amazing how they correlate to my drinking days!
