Back to good
herbal tea or cocoa help me sleep
I also take a hot shower and change my sheets so it's nice to get in bed
and relax
One other tip is to read a book or watch a movie you already know and like
because it's hard to concentrate in early sobriety sometimes.
If I wake up, writing in a journal what I'm feeling can help.
In just a week, you will feel much better so hang in there csaw

AA doesn't work too well alone but reading the Big Book and trying to take it in is certainly better than nothing.
Are there really no meetings at all any day of the week that you can't get to? Even in a small town area there should 1 or 2 a week you can make work. Or get to at least 1 meeting to make some contacts and perhaps you can find a person or two who would be willing to work with you even if you can't make regular meetings.
When the pain get great enough I'm hoping you'll be able to find the time in your schedule. By the way, if things continue like you say they have been then you won't have a job anyway so hopefully by that time you'll be willing to find a way to a meeting. Good luck.

There ya go! Start with getting to 1 meeting and get some contacts and go from there. Go with a positive attitude and do more listening than talking and you'll do fine. There will be many people there who will love nothing more than to help you follow the program and get on the road to a better life again.
