Super bank holiday Monday
 

Its a bank holiday in UK and I want to send out best wishes to all no mater where you are , especially to those who are struggling or feeling bad .
After 19 days sober I feel fantastic , OK !some aches and pains but nothing too bad . Got my garden looking great , the weather forecast looks great for today , got a BBQ planned for dinner .
I love this sober life , the anger I felt last week has settled ,my moods still fluctuate but the lows are nowhere as low , I know its still early days but I have very different plans from my previous attempts .

It's sunny and warm here in West Wales and I'm senjtill lumberjacking outside and enjoying it too.

I didn't feel as positive as yesterday and suddenly realised that I hadn't checked in here, that's how encouraging and motivating you all are for me.

Thank you very much and take it one minute, one hour, one day at a time.

I will not drink today.

Sober for 3 days and 3 nights

769 days sober here in sunny (cloudy) Suffolk.

i haven't had a beer garden summer for a couple of years now and i don't miss it really. the odd pang if the sun's out but an ice cold full-fat coke does the trick. if your head tells you it wants a beer, give it a cold, sweet fizzy drink and tell it to shut up!

Gosh what a busy day , BBQ went well( nobody was drinking ) but oh what a lot of work it was and I'm exhausted , I forgot just how much preparation is needed to get this right , anyway every one gone now and quiet night at TV .
